THE OPPORTUNITY
In the competitive world of construction, build and installation, speed and accuracy are essential; and ever since its invention in 1661, and introduction as a tool in 1939, the spirit level has played an integral part for on-site levelling and angle alignment.
The challenge comes when a contractor requires multiple readings across multiple axes (x, y and z) simultaneously. Contexts and scenarios such as laying and installing kitchens, bathrooms, pool tables and the like regularly encounter this problem.

A quick scan of products currently available on the market reveals that there’s nothing that’s able to compete with the H-Shaped Spirit Level in terms of functionality. No other level can simultaneously measure multiple axes as accurately and quickly.

Having worked in all aspects of the building trade since school and now project managing renovations, Ricky could no longer ignore the real need he was faced with on a daily basis. There had to be a more accurate and convenient way to measure multiple axes without carrying around an array of spirit levels.
A quick search online to find a product that could help solve this issue found that there was nothing suitable available. And so the idea for the H-Shaped Spirit Level was born.
